|
| A: |
The building is 9000 square feet with the pit area being
two stories, we have about 180 pit areas. The offroad course is
approximately 480 foot centerline at 100' x
55'. The oval

| Q: |
What Kind of Surface is Bumps and Jumps?
|
| A: |
Yellow Clay, very similar to potters clay with
tremendous bite, and very low tire wear.
|
| Q: |
Can we run Personal Transponders?
|
| A: |
Yes
|
| Q: |
What tires work well at Bumps and Jumps?
|
| A: |
Virtually any tire that is bald will work on offroad.
Make sure they are completely bald and look like a drag
slick. Be sure to run the same compound front and rear -
do not try to mix M2 in the front and m3 in the rear -
it will lead to a very uncomfortable handling
car. Diesel fuel works great as a traction compound. Oval
trucks are running
strikers and some gas cars are running custom works street tracks
most of the fast guys are running foam tires in
all classes - silvers, pinks, b's work well in nitro
edms and sprints with trucks running A's or pinks and
electric running silver or pink-purple combinations.

| Q: |
Do you have a Hobby Shop on the property?
|
| A: |
Yes we have a fully stocked shop which has most common
parts available.
|
| Q: |

|
| A: |
Harrisburg International Airport is approximately 20
minutes from the track and BWI is approximately 1.5 hours
|
| Q: |
Does the Bumps and Jumps allow practice anytime?
|
| A: |
We are open for practice during the hours posted on the web site. The building
requires heat and lights to be occupied and like most
things they cost money and it is simply not feasible to
open the track without 4 people paying for practice. If
you have 4 or more people and would like to practice at
times other than what is posted on the web site -contact
me.
