Frank Henry was able to get a skid loader from his work that I
could rent, and he picked up Don Hillard's skidster and the two of
us moved the remainder of the dirt to final elevations for the
water to flow towards the retention pond. We also spread some of
the stone around that I had dropped on the driveway.
Elvin Groff ran into a little problem when he dug the footers,
so much water was flowing under ground that the inspector wouldn't
allow us to pour the east side of the building this day, so he
poured the North and west sides instead.
Here you can see the step down in the footer, the soil was not
strong enough to support the building so we had to go deeper to
get to good soil.
Here you can see the concrete going in around one of the peirs.
A finished footer.
